FAQ

1. How do I join?

1) Enter the required information in the registration form
2) Click the “Register” button
3) You will receive a verification email
4) Visit the URL in the received email
5) Complete Registration

2. When is the deadline for course registration?

- You can register for the course 1 day prior to the start of the course.

3. When can I cancel my course registration?

- You can cancel your online education course registration up to three (3) days prior to the start of the course.

4. How can I pay for my course?

- You have two options: one is to pay via Paypal, and the other is to enter a coupon code.

5. How can I cancel my Paypal payment?

- You can cancel it via Paypal until the start of the course. If you wish to cancel your registration after the start of the course, please contact the Altibase Education Center (education@altibase.com).
- Online education can be cancelled up to three (3) days prior to the start of the course.

6. What is a passing grade for the online course?

- You are considered to have passed a course after you have studied all of the chapters and scored a minimum of 70 points on each of the tests.

7. Are there any courses taught in English in the Education Center?

- At present, we have no in-person courses taught in English.

1. What privileges do we have if we acquire the ACP license?

1) You can work as the official technical engineer qualified by Altibase.
2) You will be invited in seminars and technical education programs hosted by Altibase.
3) You will have the qualifications to register as the subcontractor/affiliate of Altibase.
4) You will have preferably work permit advanced status considered and responded to for advertised positions in Altibase.

2. When can we apply for the examination?

- The ACP examination is held every once in a month and you can check the examination date on our web site.

3. Do we need to take the exam only for once?

- The ACP is the nomination of the license program and the actual certifications of license are ACA, ACD (shall be established later) and ACE (shall be established later).
- The ACA shall only be recognized when applied and passed the SQL and ADMIN subjects.

4. When is the ACP exam application due?

- The application has to be submitted by the day before the exam starts.

5. When can we cancel the application by?

- It can only be cancelled by the day before exam starts.

6. How many questions are there in each subject?

- Both SQL and ADMIN topics have 60 questions each.

7. What are the pass criteria for each subject?

- SQL: More than or equal to 40 out of 60
- ADMIN: More than or equal to 40 out of 60

8. Do we have to pass the exam at once for the subjects that are needed for the license?

- You don’t need to take and pass all the subjects at once.
- Even if you passed the SQL subject and failed the ADMIN course, the credit for SQL subject is still valid, thus you only need to take an ADMIN subject only.

9. Is there any deadlines when you have to re-sit the exam for the failed subject?

- No, there is no deadline to re-sit the exam.

10. How do we pay the invoice for the examination?

- You can pay with credit cards or with a coupon.

11. Are we going to have a license after we passed the exam?

- When you passed all the required subjects, we will send you the license by post.

12. Where do we have to contact when the license is not delivered?

- Please contact us on Altibase Education Centre (02-2082-1114, education@altibase.com) we will check and take steps to ensure everything is taken care of.

13. When are we going to be informed about whether we passed or failed the exam?

- You will be able to check the result from the website right after the examination.

14. Is it possible to take an exam through the internet?

- You can only take an exam at the place approved by Alitbase Corpation (E.g. Altibase Education Center, etc.)
